This year we will be transforming our festival back room bar into a down home Honky Tonk! courtesy of Hank JD Sleek and his amazing authentic pop up DJ Dive bar! Complete with DJ Hank himself spinning the best in Cajun & Zydeco, Western Swing, Tex Mex, Blues and all things Louisiana Americana! There is even talk of getting the old Honky Tonk piano in there.. Over the years, Diz has made appearances and worked with the likes of Chas n Dave, Clarence ‘Frogman’ Henry, Alexi Korner, Dr John and opened for the Stones, at the request of Ian Stewart, at the start of their l982 world tour.

We pride ourselves on presenting a broad church of all things Louisiana here at the Big Weekend, sharing not only Cajun and Zydeco music, but Country, Blues and all other related genre's.. This year we are so happy to present to you this fabulous band of travelling musical entertainers - traditional Jazz, Ragtime, Rhythm & Blues.. Brass studded classics from the 1920’s, 1930’s and beyond. The sensational... Swervy World!
